Paris: Week Five

Monday was off to a rough start when we discovered that somehow the coffee machine got broken over the weekend… TBD how we will survive in the office with the event less than 1.5 months away. After work, my friend (who extended her trip) and I made an AMAZING vegan stir-fry in my tiny tiny kitchen.

Tuesday was a super busy day for me in the office. All of my deadlines are quickly approaching!! I dream of the day where I had 0 unread emails in my inbox. Luckily my friend is very easy going and met up with me at the end of the day so we could go out for dinner!

There are advantages and disadvantages of working in a co-working office. The biggest benefit (I believe) is the BEAN BAG CHAIRS. Whenever I find myself sitting at a desk with bad posture or I find myself very stressed I just grab my laptop and plop myself down. Instant stress relief.

As mentioned above, this week was a busy busy week for me (& the team). All day long I am just constantly staring at my inbox & a multitude of excel sheets. What I would give for another screen to keep more tabs open!

After work we headed to Restaurant Scandle. Scandle is a trendy buffet restaurant – it sounds oxymoronic but it was amazing. Long story short, we stacked our plates to the top and unquestionable got more than our moneys worth.

On our walk home, we decided to stop in a cafe for a little “last night in Paris” drink. Because my neighbourhood is so “bobo” there is a Ralph’s Cafe (Ralph Lauren). Instead of getting wine, we got hot chocolate – so cozy!

Friday was another super busy day at work.

After work I went to my very first non-classical music concert by myself. One of my current favourite musicians: Bruno Major. After I met up with some friends to go dancing, we went to a nightclub that ONLY played 80s music – how fun?
