Monday was a very rainy day in Paris – which I love because it looks so dreamy. Maybe I just love the rain here because its not -20 and snowing?
After work I went on a mission to set up my phone plan and to finally get pillows for my apartment.

On Tuesday during my lunch break, I went to get my haircut! My hair was getting too long (aka shoulder length).

After work I went to my very first spin class (bicycle)! It was SO intense. The room was lit up like a club and cold. There was a giant screen with projections of space. The instructor was yelling the whole time. Overall AMAZING.

I haven’t been talking about work much because it has been SO hectic in the office, the stress of the Summit has hit everyone. But for our weekly team meetings, we had champagne & beer to help everyone relax a bit. Hello is this the best workplace ever or what?
After work I went with a friend to a jazz concert. I quickly looked it up online and it seemed very cool. Upon arrival we discovered that it was an expensive hotel bar with nightly jazz music. Luckily there was no cover/concert charge, just one drink minimum (so that’s what we did). We ended up being 2/6 people listening which was so nice.

After work on Thursday, I went over to my managers place with my team to have a raclette dinner! We stopped at a grocery store and split the price for the cheese, veggies, potatoes, wine etc. We had SO SO much fun together. Again, I cannot believe how great & fun my team is!

Friday felt like a long day because my best friend from Montreal arrived in the morning! We always joked about how she could fly to visit me for a weekend and then one day she sent me her flight ticket confirmation – what a crazy but wonderful woman.
I completely lost my voice after 1 half day with her because of all of the catching up we had to do. We went out at night to a really cool bar called Andy Wahloo. I am so happy she is here!

Yes, this is my second post in one day! I am trying really hard to catch up to the actual date so that my stories are fresh in my mind.
Xoxo,
Tara
All looks/sounds so good . Nice to see the work team and feel the inclusiveness and enthusiasm….For a different experience, I might suggest you try to see and visit the large immigrant tenements in the suburbs to appreciate the looming social reality and problems they present to the traditional French way of life. Some are almost “no-go” areas for police. Go accompanied…Any plans for out-of-Paris excursions…..GGJ.
