Saturday was another one of my “cheesy NYC day”.
It began with a run with the dog to Central Park. We then walked around all the classic spots like the Naumburg Bandshell, the Bethesda Terrace & Fountain, and Conservatory Water .
I then walked around the shops on 5th Ave listening to Frank Sinatra.
Around dinnertime I went home and cooked myself a delicious dinner, drank wine and watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The perfect way to end my New York Day

I took the dog for one last walk in the morning. Even after a few HOURS and an overall increase in 10 degrees (30 degrees Celsius total) I had to resort to carrying the dog home because he wouldn’t follow me to leave the park. The minute that we got home he passed out on the couch. The owners came back a few hours later and my weekend of luxury was over – back to Queens, NY.
I spent my Sunday evening catching up with my housemates and going grocery shopping for the upcoming week. It is crazy to think that only a month ago I began my internship, it really does feel like “home” here.
