Monday I decided to enjoy the city and go for a long walk after work. I can’t believe that I have already been here for two months! I discovered the cutest candy shop in Soho that only sold Swedish candy. It was a Monday – treat yourself!

As my activities here were limited by my spending money, I was always researching fun things to do for free/cheap in the city. On Bandsintown I found last minute concert in Brooklyn. I invited one of my friends to go with me and we had a fun night together. We first headed over to Williamsburg to eat some dinner, we found a charming tiny restaurant on a corner of a residential street. It was a French Restaurant called Pates et Traditions, I had the best crepe of my life.
The concert was in a small dark bar (Sunnyvale) but the music was AMAZING. The featured band was the Ruen Brothers and HARE. I’ve attached two links to some of their songs, give them a listen:

Today I took the time to reflect on how lucky I am to be here in New York. I am living so many peoples dream by being here. It’s the little things that I do everyday I am thinking about like lunch in Madison Square Park or even my commute (crossing the Williamsburg bridge).

Thursday was a super busy day in the office, getting ready for an event this weekend in the Hamptons! Since I was to be attending (working) at the event and wearing a dress/sandals, I went and got a manicure/pedicure as I am representing the company while I am there. Thankfully there is a new salon that just opened up on 6th ave with an offer of $20 for both!
Because it was so stressful in the office, I had to run errands after hours. I had to go “New Yorker” on some poor customer service workers for errors. I was running around Manhattan in the pouring rain without an umbrella… fun!

Friday was a super early morning as we had to meet downtown at the car rental shop. Two Starbucks stops and approximately 4 hours later we had arrived in the Hamptons!
I can’t discuss much of what we did because of my NDA but let’s just say that at the end of the day we were covered in glitter, soaking in sweat, and very satisfied with the set-up.

After that me and a few of the girls from the office went out for dinner at Cowfish (Sushi burger bar). The parking lot was full so we were offered a tiki bus ride to and from the restaurant!
Thanks for reading!
Xoxo,
